Dr. Eldad Pardo is the Research Director of IMPACT-se, and the author of “Predicting Revolutions: Iranian Cinema and the Islamic Revolution” (2010) and of many articles on Iran and Middle East issues. He earned his doctoral degree in History at UCLA. Dr. Pardo has headed two research groups at the Truman Research Institute for the Advancement of Peace: “Religious Actors in Conflict Areas” and “Iran in Global Perspectives.” He teaches at Hebrew University in the Department of Middle Eastern Studies and at the Rothberg School of International Students. A devoted interfaith activist of the Islamic-Jewish Sufi Way, Al-Tariqa Al-Ibrahimiyya, Dr. Pardo was granted the title of Sheikh by the Muslim Qadiriyyah Order. He is an experienced commentator, speaker and writer on Middle Eastern affairs and is regularly interviewed by major TV outlets including Arabic language channels such as Al Jazeera, BBC Arabic, Al Arabiyya and Al-Hurra and i24News.
